Oliver is the creator behind Sunrise Somewhere. He has worked in web design, illustration, video editing, podcast production, and more. His interests are always expanding, but his primary passion is creative collaboration. There is nothing he finds more satisfying than bringing a shared vision to life. He currently lives in Valencia, Spain.

The Grass is Green in Pittsburgh is a podcast about events, organizations, opportunities, and spaces that make Pittsburgh such a wonderful place to find, build, and strengthen community.
The show is hosted by Julianna Warner and produced and edited by Oliver Centers.

I started writing songs on the acoustic guitar around 2009, and in 2021 I recorded some of them for a demo album. You can also listen on Spotify!

I occasionally makes electronic music to experiment with arrangements and structures. The lyrics are often an afterthought, but they occasionally form into something meaningful.

I worked with Highland Kites in 2015 to record backing vocals on the tracks “Freckles” and “Let Me Run”. I was also in a music video with them.

Between 2008 and 2010, Forest Tapley and I composed and performed together. We played at City Lights Cafe in Sylva, NC every Wednesday for a while, but we mostly just entertained friends, families, and ourselves. Before I left for college we recorded some of the music we wrote in high school.

I have been writing music for the piano since 2006 when I started taking lessons in middle school. In college I worked with my piano instructor to record some of my early songs.
